Elisabeth Schuck

Hello! I’m here for people who want to explore themselves more deeply, make sense of their life experiences, and move toward living in alignment with what matters most to them — whatever that looks like to them.

I do my best to live according to my values. I am known for my kind authenticity. Having navigated my own life path for over 50 years, I’ve come to appreciate the importance of self-honesty and self-compassion. I hold a personal commitment to ‘travel lightly’ through life, drawing on my knowledge, skills, and practices to maintain healthy functioning and a grounded, positive outlook.

Individual Therapy

I can assist with concerns related to depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, personal growth, parenting, relationship difficulties, health‑related challenges, and adjustment to changes in functioning.

In my work, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including Mindfulness‑Based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (MBCBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Eye‑Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and experiential modalities.

My approach is attachment‑focused and trauma‑informed. I aim to understand each person’s relational experiences and to build a secure, trusting, and collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard.

Group Sessions

Learning and change in group environments is powerful and effective. I offer one off workshops and group therapy programs in areas such as mindfulness, dealing with depression and anxiety, creative arts therapy, skills building in emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness and parenting.
